Chen Menghan, female, Han ethnicity, a probationary member of the Communist Party of China, is from Class 2023-2 of Civil Engineering (Cooperative Education). Since her enrollment, her academic performance has consistently ranked first in her major. As soon as she stepped into the university gate, she submitted her application for Party membership without hesitation and embarked on the journey of pursuing ideological progress.

During the Party class study, she absorbed the Party's theoretical knowledge with great eagerness like a sponge, constantly enhancing her ideological and political awareness. During the branch activities, she actively organized "precise assistance" activities to help everyone improve their academic performance, cultivate collaboration and promote communication. At reading sessions and current affairs seminars, she shares her insights with great confidence and often leads her classmates to discuss together. In daily life, she is also a "warm-hearted person". She takes the initiative to care about her classmates and helps solve various problems, interpreting the spirit of dedication of the Party through her actions. She won the second prize at the school level in the "Youth's Heart Towards the Party, It's the Right Time to Study" Party and League knowledge competition. Won the first prize at the college level in the national College Students' Open Class Competition on Ideological and political courses. Won the provincial excellence award in the Third Huaihai Economic Zone College Students' Intellectual Property Speech Contest. Before the college entrance examination, she was determined to strive for her goal. But after entering China University of Mining and Technology, she was at a loss in the face of the rich campus life. But deep down she wouldn't admit defeat and soon pulled herself together. Adhering to her beliefs, she takes every course seriously and ponders her future direction. She completed all kinds of assignments with great care, striving for perfection in every step from data collection to writing. In class, she was fully concentrated and actively interacted with the teacher. After class, she was eager for knowledge and studied repeatedly. At the end of her freshman year, she achieved excellent grades, ranking first in her major and first in the comprehensive quality assessment. She also successfully passed the CET-4 and CET-6 as well as the Computer Level 2 examination.

In the subject competition, she also gave it her all. In the 10th National College Students' Physics Experiment Competition, she won the silver award with her solid knowledge and proficient operation. In the China International College Students Innovation Competition, she and her team members worked together to solve difficult problems and won the second prize in the provincial competition. In the Fifth Jiangsu Province Mechanics Innovation and Creativity Competition, she and her team members actively cooperated and won the provincial special prize for mechanics innovation production and the provincial first prize in the Mechanics Micro-article competition at one stroke. For each competition, the instructor would help her sort out the knowledge system based on the competition content, analyze the competition questions of previous years, impart problem-solving ideas and techniques, conduct mock defenses, and correct her expression problems. Team members also fought side by side with her, offering ideas from different perspectives. With everyone's support, she kept breaking through herself.

Since her freshman year in college, she has been engaged in scientific research practice, presiding over one national-level college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program project and participating in two similar projects. When working on projects, she strives to transform knowledge into practical applications and constantly explores and innovates. She was awarded the National Scholarship for her outstanding performance in study, competition and scientific research. On her growth journey, the professional course teacher patiently explained her problems, provided supplementary materials, and guided her to think deeply. In her spare time from study, she actively engages in various practical activities. She holds several positions, serving as the assistant of the school Youth League Committee, the class monitor, and the minister of the Arts Department of the college Student Union. At her workplace, she is diligent and conscientious, always adhering to the principle of caring for and uniting with her classmates. She actively organizes various activities and strives to bring warmth and assistance to her classmates.

Meanwhile, she is passionate about volunteer services and social practice activities, and her cumulative volunteer time in her freshman year exceeds 100 hours.
