Since entering university, Ma Ling has been studying diligently and striving to improve her professional knowledge level. Ma Ling serves as the deputy director of the Student Media Center of the School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering and the minister of the New Media Department of the Dream Building Charity Organization. Since joining the University Students' Media Center, she has participated in the news coverage of many activities, responsible for writing news articles, conducting interviews and promoting activities, etc. During her social practice in Yan 'an, she participated in the interviews and writing of articles for Zhang Runsheng, the Party branch secretary of Nangou Village, and Hua Haiyang, the author of "Entering Yan 'an". Ma Ling once followed the Dream Building Volunteer Teaching Team of China University of Mining and Technology to the Central Primary School of Bayiji Town, Pizhou City to carry out volunteer teaching activities. During her volunteer teaching period, she taught courses such as astronomy, physics and fun English to children from grade 2 to Grade 5. The volunteer teaching team also organized a variety of collective activities, such as the "Little Dream House" to help children set their ideals, fire drills to popularize fire escape knowledge, collective birthday parties to convey warm blessings, and activities like "Running Eggs" that were both interesting and of public welfare significance.
