
The undergraduate program in Civil Engineering (Sino-Foreign Cooperative education) at China University of Mining and Technology is a Sino-foreign cooperative education program jointly offered by China University of Mining and Technology and Griffith University in Australia. This project was approved for implementation by the Ministry of Education in 2011 and passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Education's Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. It is a high-level demonstration project for Sino-foreign cooperative education in Jiangsu Province's universities and was awarded the title of "Brand Major for International Talent Cultivation in Jiangsu Province's Universities during the 14th Five-Year Plan" in 2022. The Civil Engineering major is a national first-class undergraduate major and a national first-class characteristic major of China University of Mining and Technology. It is also a well-known and advantageous major of Griffith University (a four-star university) in Australia. It has a strong teaching staff and practical venues. Graduates who study abroad can obtain double degrees awarded by both universities.
