On the afternoon of May 15th, the Sixth Postdoctoral Innovation Forum of China University of Mining and Technology and the academic exchange activity marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the postdoctoral system in China - a sub-forum of the School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering - was held in the B201 meeting room of the college. The sub-forum was held in a combination of offline and online formats. More than ten outstanding young scholars from well-known universities and research institutions both at home and abroad participated in this sub-forum. Wang Weilin, the vice president of the Science and Technology Research Institute of Lu 'an Chemical Group, members of the Party and administrative leadership of the college, the professor committee, the Party and administrative leaders of each department and institute, representatives of young teachers, and postdoctoral researchers in the teaching staff also attended this forum. The sub-forum was presided over by Ma Zhanguo, the Party Secretary of the college.

At the meeting, Ma Zhanguo, the Party Secretary of the college, extended a warm welcome to the young scholars from home and abroad on behalf of the college. He briefly introduced the college's development and historical evolution, discipline development, platform construction, professional system, faculty team, educational characteristics, educational brand and development plans, and also expounded on the support policies of the school and the college in terms of talent introduction and faculty team building. And we sincerely welcome outstanding young talents to join our college. The young scholars attending the meeting respectively shared their reports on their own research fields, cutting-edge academic achievements, research plans, etc., and had exchanges and discussions with the experts and teachers on the spot.

This year's Postdoctoral Innovation Forum is a 2025 national postdoctoral academic exchange activity hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and organized by China University of Mining and Technology. Experts and scholars, postdoctoral supervisors, young scholars, postdoctoral researchers and doctoral students in the field of energy and resources, who are oriented towards the world's scientific and technological frontiers, the main economic battlefield and the major strategic demands of the country, were invited to conduct academic exchange activities. Taking this "Postdoctoral Innovation Forum" as a platform, the college actively and widely attracts outstanding young talents from home and abroad to join.
