    BIO:

    Bai Jinliang is a Class of 2022 undergraduate majoring in Civil Engineering (Sino-foreign Cooperative Education) at the School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering. Since enrollment, he has consistently ranked first in his major, achieving perfect scores in four foundational courses includingAdvanced MathematicsandCollege Physics. Aligned with national strategic goals in deep underground engineering, he focuses on preventing and controlling cutterhead clogging in super-large diameter shield tunneling machines. He has presided over two National-level College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program projects.

    FUTURE PLAN:

        The Sino-foreign cooperative education program has provided me with access to international cutting-edge research resources and advanced teaching methodologies, broadening my academic horizons and enhancing my cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills. It has also sharpened my understanding of global trends in deep underground engineering. In the future, I plan to further strengthen my foundational knowledge during my undergraduate studies, actively participate in international conferences, and pursue a doctoral degree at a world-renowned university after graduation. My goal is to systematically master advanced theories and technologies in deep underground engineering and ultimately return to China to contribute to higher education and scientific research, translating my expertise into tangible contributions to the nation’s deep underground engineering initiatives.
